On this past Sunday, as the Breakthrough family gathered to worship and celebrate Father’s Day, Pastor Daymond preached a very important message entitled The Father’s Love, about the Father’s love and goodness to His people. Not only a theological topic, he emphasizes that it is a living experience we must have over and over. This powerful message is accompanied by prophetic impartation to many who were present. You will be so blessed to receive what our Father is pouring out! I certainly was blessed as I listened!

Breakthrough Reminders:

• Pastor Jason & Andrea – The property is listed for sale with Remax! Please pray for top dollar and a quick sale!  We’re coming down to the wire and still lots to be done. Please offer to lend a hand as they continue packing, preparing the house, etc. Offering a meal would be helpful also. Contact Andrea msglacier@hotmail.com for a specific way that you can assist them. Also, they have two couch sets and a girl’s bunk bed in excellent condition for sale. If you or any one you know can use these items, contact Andrea.
•  Sunday, June 30 – Potluck lunch honoring Pastor Jason, Andrea and the children. A sign up sheet is available at the church for your convenience. Also, please bring cards expressing your sentiments and blessings. We’d like to send them off with an Alaska gift to remember us by. We’d also like for them to be able to choose that gift. So, we are asking for contributions towards their Alaska good bye gift. If you’d like to be a part of that blessing to them, please include your donations in your card. Anything else you’d like to do for them is welcomed. Thank you for blessing our pastors and children. We want them to send them off incredibly blessed!
• Chad Taylor Ministries – Everybody is invited to the Chad Taylor www.consumingfire.com services June 21- 23. Breakthrough Church & Valley Church are working together to coordinate this time of ministry to our community. Services are scheduled for Friday June 21, 6:45pm, Saturday, June 22, 10:30am and 6:45pm and Sunday, June 23 at 10:30am. All services are scheduled at Valley Church. It would be great to see some Breakthrough faces in attendance! Hope to see you and please share this info and bring others with you!
• Beth Moore, Christian author and teacher of the Word will be ministering at a women’s conference in Ketchikan on June 21-22. For details, visit www.seacwr.com. This is an awesome opportunity to gather, fellowship and worship with other sisters in Christ  in this region.

Good morning Breakthrough family! In the midst of this season of transition, God continues speaking life changing words to our hearts. On Sunday the word of the Lord was “Speak Your Peace” by Pastor Jason.  In the midst of unsettling situations, God enables His people to be a settling presence. We can’t do so without knowing His peace. God is says to us, speak your peace! It’s time to declare peace to those circumstances that come to constantly occupy our thoughts and lives! Listen to the message and grab hold of his peace today!

Breakthrough announcements:

• Pastor Jason, Andrea and the children will be departing from Juneau to their new home and ministry in Oklahoma in less than a month. Before they leave, there is LOTS to do! Your help is needed and will be appreciated. One way you can help this week is there are many items left over from their recent garage sale. They are asking that we come by during the week and choose what you can use, take some items to Salvation Army or St Vincent or take things to the dump for them. Any one of these actions would help them out tremendously. For other ways that you can help, please contact Andrea msglacier@hotmail.com.

Father, thank you for being our Faithful Father who loves Your children unconditional!  Where would we be without You?
• Congratulations to Pastor Daymond and Jenny as they celebrate their 36th year of marriage on Sunday, June 16!
• Remember to continue praying for our sister, Jeannita who is away receiving treatment in Tulsa and others among us who are ill.

Good morning Breakthrough Church! God is continuing to speak THRIVE! In the last in this series, Pastor Jason’s topic on Sunday was Thrive in Prosperity. He shares what God’s view and definition of prosperity really is. We are meant to thrive in this season no matter what we are currently facing.  It is not our destiny to barely scrape by. God’s word has a great perspective on this subject. Let’s take on this declaration for ourselves! Hear this message and the others in the series and be encouraged by this life-changing word.

Today’s Breakthrough announcements:

• Pastor Jason & Andrea – In this season of transition for our pastors and family, please keep them constantly in prayer. Pray God’s wisdom & clarity in all matters, strength & peace, immediate sale of property and of course, whatever God place on your heart for them. Please stay ready to lend hands & backs in the areas they will need help in the next days.  There’s lots to be done. Let’s all pitch in and get it done!  Father, thank you for this precious family. Thank you for the time that You gave to us with them. Thank you that we are changed forever because You sent them our way. Thank you that they are thriving in every area of their lives. Thank you that there is no stress or anxiety! Thank you for bringing everything together for our pastors and we know that when it all comes together, it will be in Your perfect timing, in the faithful and awesome name of Jesus!
• Another avenue to assist – While Pastor Jason and Andrea are in the process of selling their property and trying to keep the house clean for showing, consider offering  gift cards from a local restaurant so that they can keep things tidy and not have to cook every meal and rush to clean up before potential buyer comes over. They would be so blessed!
• Going Away, Send Out Party – Sunday, June 30 is our potluck lunch honoring Pastor Jason, Andrea and the children. Mark your calendars! Details to follow.
• Jeannita – Continued prayers for our sister as she is away for treatment. Thank you Lord for your healing power!
• Sunday June 16 is Pastor Daymond and Jenny’s 36th year wedding anniversary and Father’s Day!

As hard as it’s been to consider, my family and I are packing things up and headed out to a new adventure in Oklahoma in just over a month. For the last eleven years, we have loved the privilege of serving this community, ministry, and city. Our hearts are forever changed by what God has done.

What some may not have heard is that after much prayer and seeking counsel from leaders here and elsewhere, we feel God is leading us to sell our property where Breakthrough Church has met over these last years. It was (and still is) a very difficult decision, but we trust God for not only ourselves, but the life of this congregation.

We are looking at alternate locations now and may meet in a living room for a while, but God is decidedly up to something great. If it were all based on appearances, I would have to admit to being uncertain and wouldn’t blame you for feeling the same way.

You and I have a promise though. It’s a promise made by Jesus that He would build His Church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it. Every crossroads is an opportunity and this is no different. New things can be uncomfortable, but the rewards will outweigh the difficulties as you endure.

There will be greater avenues for relationships to deepen, for healing to take place, for Kingdom advancement in incredible areas. God has declared to us and invited us to take up the declaration: Thrive! I don’t believe this is an accident!

Before He led us to these decisions, He was speaking this word and I encourage you again to listen to these messages and let God renew your heart, vision, and hunger. Click on any of the links below to listen for the first time or hear them again.

Remember that He knows the plans He has for this church body and He will see them to completion. The best is yet to come as we are privileged to experience the greatest release of His glory Juneau and the world has ever seen.
